You Are a Being of Grace
I define grace as kindness freely given. It is a quality that directs actions. When we feel ourself in grace we don’t criticize our self or others. When we feel our self in grace, we don’t have doubts. Belief requires believing in something. In grace, we believe we are kind.
Have you ever planned on doing one thing but somehow, whether by distraction or complications or confusing time management you didn’t fulfill your own expectation? Did you belittle yourself? Or were you kind, compassionate and patient?
When life feels chaotic it is easier to doubt the value of grace even though grace is the antidote to overwhelm and anxiety. Your life experiences, genetic and generational inheritances as well as your environment and chance are all factors in how you think. But when you remember grace, you are not defined by any external chaos. You are acting from the energy you choose to embody.
When life feels turbulent, take a breath in, release that breath and remember you belong in your own experience of balance where your presence makes a difference. The more you embrace your authentic graceful self, the more you will contribute to a world that is in the process of transformation. Life is not about perfection; it is about presence. It is about choosing, moment by moment, to return to your graceful self who remembers that you have deep knowing and that you are enough, just as you are.
